The Georgetown Company acquired this building out of bankruptcy, in partnership with Olshan Properties, from Citibank at $251 per square foot. With architect Philip Birnbaum & Associates. The Georgetown Company undertook a complete renovation of the building’s public spaces, including lobbies and hallways, to reposition the property as the leading luxury condominium building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Completed in 2005, The Georgetown Company first rented units, then commenced with condominium sales, with a final sell-out price of approximately $900 per square foot.
