The $250 million renovation and capital construction project at the New York Public Library was spearheaded by a Georgetown Company principal, who served as its 30-year head of real estate, and who is also a two-time chairman of the New York City Public Library board. The physical rejuvenation of this iconic landmark includes impressive updates and the addition of new spaces to enhance public use of the library system. The project features work by renowned architects Davis Brody Bond Aedas and others. Project highlights include: improvements to the Schomberg Center, the Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center and the Science, Industry and Business Library, as well as the South Court addition to the Research Library at 42nd Street and 5th Avenue.
