Matt Phillips

Matt Phillips is a real estate professional with over thirty years of construction development and property management experience. Mr. Phillips began his career with the Beck Group in Atlanta and has completed projects totaling over 5M sf of build-to-suit and speculative projects including office, retail, hospitality and industrial. Prior to joining RocaPoint Mr. Phillips held the following positions: Development Manager for Homestead Village Hotels, Director of Construction for Seefried Properties, Vice President of Paragon Development and most recently President of FirstService Residential.

Mr. Phillips has extensive experience leading project teams, including owners, architects, engineers, and contractors from project inception to substantial completion and turnover. Having recently completed the PGA TOUR’s new headquarters building in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Matt is now leading the development of PGA TOUR Studios, a 165,000sf broadcast facility located in Ponte Vedra Beach.   Other notable build-to-suit clients have included AT&T, GE, Lotus USA, Ethan Allen Furniture, Harley Davidson, Crate & Barrel and Dunkin Donuts.

Mr. Phillips graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Construction Management and obtained his Master of Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
