Madison Square Garden Renovation
4 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10001
Through a joint venture with Paramount Communication, The Georgetown Company renovated and repositioned the iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) into a world-class sports and entertainment venue. The project was among one of the first to utilize the concepts of “club seats”, exclusive restaurants and luxury suites. This renovation added 88 new suites to the existing arena, incorporated a new 5,000 seat theater and transformed MSG into one of the busiest arenas in the world. The profitable venture converted operations from a net loss of $4 million per annum to positive cash flow of $40 million per annum.
