James Dean

James is the Senior Project Manager of RocaPoint Partners.  Mr. Dean has a diverse real estate background through 40+ years of experience in @ 4 million SF of construction/development projects including mixed-use (infrastructure, retail, office, multi-family, hotel), office headquarters (Delta, Cox, TSYS, Greenville County),  trade marts (Atlanta Gift Mart), and entertainment venues (N Augusta GreenJackets professional baseball, Atlanta Variety Playhouse), in addition to asset management/ redevelopment of various hotel, USVI resort, and office acquisitions.

Mr. Dean’s work background includes Portman Properties, Cousins Properties, Lennar Partners, Wells Real Estate, and others.  Many of James’s projects have included high profile architects of design such as John Portman, Kevin Roche, and Foster + Partners.  James has undergraduate degrees in Finance and Construction from Louisiana State University.
