Daniel Gohari

Daniel Gohari oversees Georgetown’s financial operations, cash management, budget & forecasting, audit & tax oversight, and reporting. Since joining, he has led the firm in its transition to implement new accounting and finance software, modernizing the core accounting functions along with investment accounting and development job cost.  Prior to joining Georgetown, Daniel was an Assistant Controller at George Comfort & Sons, a privately held real estate company whose focus was to own and manage commercial office buildings. He was responsible for financial related functions which included accounting and reporting, cash flow management, creating and tracking budgets and treasury functions. From 2004 to 2013, Daniel was an Audit Supervisor at Margolin Winer & Evens (acquired by Baker Tilly), with a focus on real estate, hedge funds, and manufacturing and distribution. He worked on audit, tax, and advisory projects for various clients such as Empire State Realty Trust, Grid Properties, Vanbarton Group, and Pepsi & Canada Dry Bottling.

Daniel graduated from the University of Buffalo in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and is a New York State Certified Public Accountant.
